A RESEARCH CONSTRUCTION ON AFFIRMATIVE ACTIONS IN BRAZILIAN GRADUATE STUDIES

ABSTRACT

This paper presents an academic production review on affirmative actions in Brazilian graduation, aiming at identifying the main characteristics of this research agenda. Thereunto, it uses a qualitative State of Art approach from the content analysis of thesis, dissertations, and papers published by the main websites available. The text evinces an incipient field, as well as the need for investment in researchers’ networks from several Brazilian regions in order to stimulate the mapping and analysis of existing experiences, also pointing resistance paths in this moment of State disinvestment in educational policies for scientific development associated to the strengthening of affirmative action policies.
