AMONG VIEWS AND PERCEPTIONS: THE EXPERIENCES WITH ACADEMICAL WRITTEN CULTURE ON THE PART OF AN OUTSOURCING WORKER INSERTED IN ACADEMIC SCOPE

ABSTRACT

This paper has the experience with academic [writing] culture as a topic which considers a worker in general services in the academic sphere scope. To accomplish this study, we considered some thoughts of Cerutti-Rizatti, Pedralli and Tomazzoni (2016) to aim understanding the manner how this person-participant subscribes in the academic writing culture, crosswise its laboral ambit, and how it assimilates this same culture over its own values and beliefs. Our way to this comprehension evoked some other questions that involve subjectivities of this person-participant. Meanwhile the data was generated, we commit to analytically reflect under two distincts epistemological fields: the bakhtinian perspective (BAKHTIN, 2010 [1979], 2010 [1920-24]), considering to comprehend the dialogical relation from people inserted in the academic culture; and the foucaultian perspective (FOUCAULT, 1995 [1982a], 2014 [1976]) wondering to understand the political and institutional aspects in this context. It is a study of one case (DUFF, 2012), from which some instruments of analysis were used: semi-structured interview, participant observation, audio recording, field notes and photographs. The immersion in the field research has brought some questions: how does this person, immersed in the academic context, relate with the laboral sphere? How can this microanalysis assist to think about the academic linguistic politics, regarding inclusion practices and “audibility/visibility” of these ordinary voices?
