The Regional State and the nationalisms

Abstract

The article attempts to the issue of the territorial organization of the State in the light of the Spanish Constitution of 1978. The study examines, on one hand, the reply that since certain nationalisms is addressed to the existing constitutional system and, on the other hand, different readings of the constitutional text that lead to the denial of conceptions that the constituent considered foundations of the constitutional order. The main issue analyzed is the profile of the regional State designed by the Spanish Constitution.
