AVALIAÇÃO DO APRENDIZADO ACADÊMICO (UM ESTUDO COMPARATIVO DO DESEMPENHO CURRICULAR COM OS RESULTADOS DE UM CONCURSO)

Abstract

The authors report a comparative study between a test for admission for an Intensive Care Center and the academic performance of students during the first four years of the medical undergraduate course. Mathematical analysis demonstrated that best students performances on the admission tests had a significant correlation with performance during the medical course and vice-versa.

In addition, the authors suggest that “compliant” evaluation procedures at medical school were more significant among students with insufficient under-graduate academic performance.
