São Paulo: Perspectiva, 2020. shows how the philosopher criticized different historic cities, notably that of mechanical time or the reassuring idea of linear progress. He opposes them to a qualitatively different and rare time, marked by the articulation between messianic perspective and revolutionary historicity, thus associating Jewish tradition and Marxist conviction.
