Tumor misto da glândula lacrimal

Mixed lacrimal gland tumor

RESUMO

Os autores apresentam 4 casos de tumor pleomórfico ou tumor misto de glândula lacrimal. É o tumor benigno mais freqüente da glândula lacrimal e contém elementos da linhagem epitelial e conjuntiva.

A apresentação clínica é analisada. O estudo pré-operatório inclui Rx de crânio e tomografia computadorizada.

O tratamento é cirúrgico e o resultado final é satisfatório com ressecção total em todos os casos.

SUMMARY

Four cases of epithelial tumors of lacrimal gland are reported. The clinical features of this group of patients are analysed. The pre-operative evaluation included plain skull X-ray and computerized tomography. ln all cases a total ressection was obtained.
