Abstract:
Review of the book As mulheres de X’oyep, writen by Alberto del Castillo Troncoso, which is a biography of a photo of the tzotil women, at México, taken by Pedro Valtierra in 1998 and published by a lot of journals as symbol of the conflict between indigenous people and the Mexican State power.
