Este ano ainda estaremos passando por uma fase de transição referente à reforma editorial iniciada em 2002 envolvendo as referências bibliográficas e os resumos. No volume 16, teremos artigos com referências seguindo tanto as normas da Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas - ABNT-6023/1989 quanto as de Vancouver.
Referências bibliográficas: A partir do volume 16, constarão nas Instruções aos Autores.
"Deverão ser numeradas consecutivamente na ordem em que foram mencionadas pela primeira vez no texto, baseadas no estilo Vancouver. A ordem de citação no texto obedecerá esta numeração".
Resumo: A transição de formato será observada também no resumo estruturado e não estruturado.
"Para os artigos originais os resumos devem ser estruturados destacando objetivos, métodos básicos adotados informando local, população e amostragem da pesquisa, resultados e conclusões mais relevantes, considerando os objetivos do trabalho, e indicar formas de continuidade do estudo. Para as demais categorias, o formato dos resumos deve ser o narrativo, mas com as mesmas informações".
Editorial note
This year we will still be in a transition period concerning the editorial changes started in 2002 involving the bibliographic references and the abstracts. In the volume 16, we will have articles with references following the standards of Brazilian Association of Technical Standards - ABNT-6023/1989 as well as of Vancouver.
Bibliographic references: From volume 16 on, they will be in the Instructions for Authors.
"They must be numbered consecutively in the order in which they were first mentioned in the text, based on Vancouver style. The order of citation in the text must follow these numbers".
Abstract: The transition of format will also be observed in the structured and unstructured abstract.
"For the original articles the abstracts should be structured with emphasis on objectives, basic methods applied giving information about place, population and sampling of the research, results and more relevant conclusions, considering the objectives of the work, and follow-up studies should be indicated. For the other categories of articles, the format of the abstracts should be narrative, but they should contain the same information".
