Abstract
The objective of this article is to characterize the process of reprimarization of the Brazilian export tariff, its impact on labor public policy and the deepening of the exploitation of the workforce in Brazil. When “Dialectic of dependence”, by Ruy Mauro Marini, completes 50 years, its relevance is observed to apprehend the process that Brazil has been going through since its reinsertion in the world economy. Documentary research works with data from foreign trade and the new legal frameworks for work. In the bibliographical research, dependence theory is used, with emphasis on Marini's work. As a result, the process of reprimarization of the export tariff and the new legal order of labor/capital relations are identified, setting up in Brazil the environment conducive to especially high levels of intensity and length of the working day, two frequent mechanisms of overexploitation.
