Abstract:
This article, by using the Marxist matrix and by means of bibliographical research, demonstrates that racism becomes one of the structures of the Brazilian society because it is one of the superstructural elements of the Brazilian capitalism. This favours the process of domination and capital accumulation by the Brazilian bourgeoisie, in the context of the second and third national identity projects, between the mid-19th and the mid-20th centuries.
