SENSORIALITY FOR CHILDREN: THE TASTE IN SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION

ABSTRACT

This article presents the results of a Program of Sensory Games (ProJsei), focused on taste perception, which belongs to the Pedagogy of Corporeity (PC) in children aged between four and five years of public schools in João Pessoa-PB. The ProJsei was teach in 20 classes of children's physical education for two months, using the games of children's culture as trials space with basic flavors of food (sweet, salty, sour and bitter). During the participant research, ProJsei held according to the Class-Laboratory structuring of PC and developed it in three phases: initial, with evaluation; intermediate, with educational intervention and end with assessment, comparing the obtained results. ProJsei not only articulates physics and nutrition education at the school, but also encourages children to taste different foods, thus providing incentives to better cooperate with the food choices.
