Strategies of Resistance of Black Quota Holder, Lesbian, and Bisexual Women

This article analyzes resistance strategies of black coeducated, lesbian and bisexual women in a state university in the Midwest of Brazil, from the perspective of "social non-place". Some of the factors interfering in the permanence of these women in the university, as well as the way they face them, were evidenced through semi-structured interviews conducted with four undergraduate students of the institution, in the period from 2017 to 2018. The research was based on references that interface education, gender and race relations, black and lesbian feminism. In the conclusions, processes were outlined that evoke the academy since graduation as an unwelcoming social space for black women, subtending that these women are unable to perform intellectual activities, forcing them to seek affirmative action and varied support networks
