CONTRA O USO DESUMANO DOS SERES HUMANOS: O COMPORTAMENTO ÉTICO DO PESQUISADOR

Abstract:

The discussion over the main ethical dilemmas of the medicine practice and of the clinical research should represent a serious concern for the Medicine Post-Graduate Courses considering their purpose of preparing professors and researchers.

The deontology is no longer part of the regular and obligatory curriculum and its teaching seems to be quite unsatisfactory.

Additionaly, the author recommends the review of the current medical ethics code due to its obsolescence. He presents the basic points for the biomedical research involving human beings and suggests that for every post-graduation course coordination there be an ethical evaluation commission for the project.
