Analytical model for plucked string instruments

This article aims to study and evaluate the analytical model of a plucked string. The initial conditions that occur in instruments with this type of attack will be applied to the general equation for the movement of waves on a string, so that the mathematical description of such movement is obtained; then, it will be shown what is possible to be concluded from such results when applied to musical instruments.
