HOW MANY LONELINESS CAN LIVE IN A BLACK AND FAT TRANSVESTITE BODY?

Abstract

This article is the result of a cartography of myself based on my experiences as a black and fat transvestite in the process of understanding the various forms of loneliness that cross my subjectivity, from aesthetic loneliness, thought through the absence of representation, to affective loneliness, resulting from the emptying of relational possibilities, through a romantic perspective and beyond. In this sense, I intend to analyze the effects of coloniality in the production of loneliness and violence in my experiences, while I present Afrotranscentration as a possibility of healing colonial wounds. Methodologically, cartography makes it possible to delve in an embodied way into my experiences, drawing a map of the affections that inhabit me in relation to loneliness. Afro-transcendent experiences provoke the psi clinic to break with the narcissistic pact of cisheteronormative whiteness. To this extent, Afrotranscentration is a cure for the colonial burden of loneliness.
