CLASSIFICATIONS, LABELS AND TURNS: THE OVERVIEW OF THE EPISTEMOLOGICAL DISCUSSION OF BRAZILIAN PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY

The objective of this article was to analyze the panorama of the epistemological discussion of Brazilian Physical Education in the 21st century, with the aim of contributing new reading keys to the debate. To this end, in addition to analyzing the field's scientific production on the subject, interviews were conducted with eight researchers who publish articles on the epistemology of Brazilian Physical Education, namely: Valter Bracht, Mauro Betti, Paulo Fensterseifer, Pedro Hallal, Felipe Quintão de Almeida, Juliano de Souza, Marcelo Moraes e Silva and Ricardo Rezer. From the scientific production and the interviews, it is possible to conclude that the epistemological discussion of Brazilian Physical Education moves towards a condition of plurality, however, it seems to be accompanied by problems in relation to scientific training.
