RE-EXISTENCE IN THE POST-PANDEMIC WORLD: CRITICAL DISCURSIVE CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT CITIZENSHIP, TECHNOLOGY AND PRAGMATIC NETWORKS

Abstract

Aiming to reflect on possible horizons for social transformation, the present work brings together some ontological, epistemological and methodological considerations regarding critical work with language connected to the citizen issue. It is, therefore, an invitation to an open dialogue about discourse and mobilization based on Critical Discourse Studies (RESENDE, 2008; PARDO, 2011; SANTOS, 2017; 2019). Thus, some observations are shared based on the comprehension of discourse, through some original concepts (i.e., Critical Aquilombage (Santos, 2019; 2021) and Pragmatic Networks (SANTOS, 2017; 2019), and on the necessity of a discursive-oriented practice in times of crisis – which are mediated by digital technologies, new spaces of struggle for the power that influences social groups in the maintenance and erasure of their social existences.
