Abstract
In this essay, the "baiano philosopher" Almachio Diniz seeks to discover in the "superman" of Nietzsche the principles of philosophical evolutionism, which he refers to Ernst Haeckel. He argues that the Übermensch, in face of the idea of universal evolution, is a fact to be consummated in the future.
