ABSTRACT

The incidence of redgum lerp psyllid Glycaspis brimblecombei Moore was studied in a grove of 636 trees of Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehnh, in Presidente Venceslau, State of São Paulo, Brazil. From Sept 30, 2003 to April 02, 2004, 5 yellow sticky traps replaced weekly were used to capture a total of 33,460 adults of G. brimblecombei with a peak on the last evaluation (4,503 adults/5 traps). The highest severity of G. brimblecombei infestation was detected on January 2004. The average number of egg masses per leaf ranged from 7.5 to 27.5. G. brimblecombei nymphs were parasitized by Psyllaephagus bliteus Riek (Hym.: Encyrtidae).
