The present research has been proposed with the objective of tracing the epidemiologic outline of AIDS in region of Londrina and Paraná State and at the same way to promote a nursing care plan to patients that suffer from AIDS. The collected data were obtained from the 17 th Regional of Health and refer to the period from 1984 to April 1991. The conclusion is that the number of AIDS cases are increasing progressively in Paraná State with elevated coefficient of Death-about 77.2%. The more common way of transmission of this disease is through the sexual contact and the other manner is through the blood transmission, empasizing the useres of drugs by injections. Finally this research points out suggestions to a nursing assistance plan aiming to provide more human and suitable care to the patient who is a carrier of AIDS virus, and at the same manner, giving a larger safeness to the health team
