Abstract
The article analyzes the conditions of execution and the dilemmas of the transformation of semi-open into house arrest electronically monitored in Rondônia. The review is based on bibliographic research, data collection, questionnaire and interviews. The results indicate that electronic surveillance is potentially violating guarantees when resocialization actions are not implemented, in particular, measures for access to the labor market.
