Abstract
Santo Antônio do Guaporé is a Quilombola community originating in Portuguese colonization in the Guaporé Valley since the 18th century. It is currently strongly impacted by the creation and implementation of REBIO Guaporé in 1982. This work analyzes the community's relations with environmental agencies and the colonizing environment that has been established there since the 1980s.
