The role of Public Ministry against Slavery in Amazon region: The case of Rondonia

Abstract

In this article, it is presented the controversy about slavery in its modern configuration, against the reality in Rondônia. It is defended that its effective eradication in the region presupposes articulated actuation of public e private institutions, with proeminence of the Public Ministry as social articulator. It is adopted the qualitative style of reserarch and the quantitative techniques.
