Abstract
This is a study on the framework that the Minas Gerais’ Judiciary produces for homosexual relationships between women for the purpose of protection from situations of domestic violence. From feminist and queer contributions, especially from criminology, we locate the historical and theoretical bases of the debate on domestic violence to discuss the domestication, by the law, of Maria da Penha Law’s feminism and how it reinscribes lesbian women into heterosexist gender stereotypes.
