Law between appropriation and alienation in the Grundrisse of Karl Marx

Abstract

From the celebration of Marx's 200th birthday, this research aims to analyze the transformation of the juridical alienation phenomenon in Marx's theoretical laboratory, Grundrisse . Based on the reading of the first major essay “The Capital”, where Marx makes his great discoveries in the context of his critique of political economy, we seek to evaluate the itinerary and the unfolding of the alienation theme along with the development of his theory of value. In the end, we also address the constituent function of law as mediator of the capital temporality from the mechanisms of (non)-equivalence formation.
