Conceptions of teacher of IES for articulated communicative and expressive development on evaluation of students on this performance

PURPOSE: to investigate and analyze whether teachers/speakers have the knowledge on communication and express importance at their workplace and their relationship with the Speech Therapy. In a specific way, this study aimed to further articulate this knowledge with the view of students about the performance communicative and expressive of these teachers/speakers, in activity of lecture. METHOD: a research was held with teachers/speakers in a Scientific Initiation Congress at College Redentor through simple questionnaires, they got questions related to communication and expressivity. Six teachers/ speakers and thirty students/listeners took part in the research. RESULTS: data demonstrating that the knowledge of teachers/speakers, relating to communication and expressivity, was a little lower than the expected. On other hand, parts of the students/listeners have allowed the production of lectures. CONCLUSION: we may conclude that teachers/speakers need to be more aware about the communication and expressivity issues, during the lectures, wiling to improve their knowledge. In answer to the questionnaire, the teachers/speakers showed interest in getting better in what they found out to be flawed. Through this research, the majority realized that the Speech Therapy is, in fact, the Science being able to help them, showing helpful techniques and methods in order improve their presentations.
