História com Pedagogia: a contribuição da obra de Jonathas Serrano na construção do código disciplinar da História no Brasil

This paper focuses on the Jonathas Serrano's (1855-1944) work. Serrano was a member of the Instituto Histórico e Geográfico Brasileiro and History teacher of the Pedro II School. This essay focues the educational work of that author, specially his main manuals that were made to the formation of History teachers and to the students. The analysis based upon the concept of the disciplinary code, allow us to suggest that his works introduced in a systematic way the influence of pedagogy on History teaching. It was an important contribution to the construction of the disciplinary code of History in Brazil.
