Teachers' formation reformed: the notion of competences and the production of control

This paper offers a reflexion on teacher's formation on context of the educational reform marked by the centralidade of the curriculum and the notion of competences. The analysis takes for reference the Critical Theory of the Society, as the writings of T. ADORNO, M. HORKHEIMER and H. MARCUSE, to analyze the relation between school education and teaching work in the society of the present capitalism. The critical to the reform of the teacher's formation is based an incorporation movement, for the pedagogical field, of the logic that conducts the market economy. This process of incorporation occurs for different mediations and manifest in procedures that value the competition, generate the exclusion and promote the adaptation of the formation human the pretense requirements of formation for the work.
