Oral sources, history and school knowledge

This article is result of an action-research developed in Escola Estadual Professor Júlio Mesquita, in Jardim das Américas neighborhood, Curitiba-PR. It discusses the role of oral sources and memory using in primary education history teaching. This work, based on this experience, analyses how those sources can be used in history school knowledge production. It aims at developing possibilities and difficulties of this kind of project in school.
