Research on Historical Education: analyzing the theme of religion in history textbooks

The purpose of this research is to present an analysis of the religious theme, about the Protestant Reformation and Counter-Reformation in content of the educational work "Projeto Araribá" of elementary school. We selected the historical narratives of students from the seventh grade of a municipal school in "Goiânia". The central focus of the search was to explore if the textbooks influence in the development of a "historical consciousness" of students.
