Assessment as learning space in educational software

Considering the use of new technologies in current times, specifically programs that technically are called software and its importance in the educational environment, the intention of this article is to conduct an study about the contributions of evaluation as a mediating instrument in the learning process, analyzing foreign language educational softwares (Spanish and English), in order to determine what conceptions of evaluation underlie their teaching proposals, and to examine to what extent the size of the program interface will encourage user acquisition in regard to ease of use, the content, the degree of content organization and interaction between what was taught and what is required in the exercises, the test after each lesson, the methodology and criteria for learning assessment.
