Abstract
The Brazilian Princess School is an institution that promotes activities only for girls, and is focused on their personal, social and moral development. The objective of this study was to understand the effects of meanings about femininity promoted on the Princess School website. Some discursive sequences analyzed using Michel Pêcheux’s discourse analysis highlighted discursive regularities that emphasize a traditionalist and conservative morality for girls and reaffirm their compassion, submission, and an inequality between genders.
