Reforestation and Biodiversity. Conservation and restoration

“Somewhere in our journey Humanity lost its way”

Edward O. Wilson

The loss of forests has affected all regions and continents of our planet Earth. The recovery and restoration of these forests with native species is a priority. In order to restore biodiversity; restore and protect water quality; improve ecosystem services, it is necessary a large scale reforestation project, for Brazil.

This could be a mobilizing forcing function for the society. It could promote millions of jobs, restore watersheds in critical regions, recover landscapes and improve the biogeophysical structure of the ecosystems. A challenge for governments and decision makers.
