RESUMO

O autor apresenta um caso raro da Síndrome da Morning Glory associada à Microftalmia do olho contralateral e busca correlacionar os achados clínicos encontrados nesta síndrome com seus prováveis mecanismos etiopatogênicos.

SUMMARY

The author reports a rare case of Morning Glory Syndrome associated with Microphthalmia of the contralateral eye and attempts a correlation between the clinical findings and the probable etiopathogenical mechanisms.
