RESUMO

Os autores descrevem um caso de comunicação arteriovenosa de retina (CAVR), com descompensação microvascular progressiva e edema macular. Analisam fisiopatologia do processo, variedades clínicas, complicações e terapêutica desta patologia extremamente rara.

SUMMARY

The authors describe a case of arteriovenous communication of the retina (AVCR), with progressive microvascular decompensation and macular edema. They analyze physiopathology, clinical variation, complications and therapy of this rare disease.
