Perforating eye injury after radial: keratotomy report of two cases

trauma ocular perfurante; ceratotomia radial

SUMMARY

The authors report 2 cases of perforating eye injuries after radial keratotomy (RK). They discuss the ocular integrity and the process of corneal wound healing after RK. The importance of the correct orientation of the patient candidate to RK, concerning the surgery itself as well as the pre-ventionoftrauma in the postoperative period, is discussed.
