Tratamento cirúrgico da atrofia hemifacial progressiva

RESUMO

Os autores apresentam um caso de Atrofia Hemifacial Progressiva (Síndrome de Parry-Romberg) em um paciente do sexo feminino, 31 anos de idade, com hemiatrofia facial esquerda, enoftalmo, diplopia e pseudo-sinal de Von Graefe positivo.

O tratamento cirúrgico utilizado foi de enxerto gorduroso obtido com lipoaspiração e injetado dentro da órbita. Com este tratamento, além da melhora estética com a diminuição do enoftalmo, houve cura da diplopia e a ausência do pseudo-sinal de Von Graefe.

SUMMARY

This paper presents a case of Progressive Facial Hemiatrophy (Parry-Romberg syndrome) in a 31 year old white woman, that left hemifacial atrophy, enophthalmos diplopia.

Grafting a small amount of aspireted placed in the orbit, behind the orbital septum led to a good result.
