Basic Information
The journal Sequência (Florianópolis) is bound to the Stricto Sensu Post-Graduation Course in Law from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina – UFSC, and publishes semiannually unpublished scientific works, both domestic and foreign, in thematic areas of Critic Theory of Law, emphasizing the contemporary constitutionalism and its reflexes in the following Law areas: Law, State and Society; Philosophy, Theory and History of Law; and International Relations. It was first published in 1980. Its abbreviated title is Sequência (Florianópolis), which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.

Scope and Policy
The journal Sequência (Florianópolis), bound to the Stricto Sensu Post-Graduation Course in Law from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina – UFSC, publishes unpublished articles, research reports, comunications in congresses, written by teachers, students and researches bounded to post-graduation courses in Law, as well as book reviews, in thematic areas of Critic Theory of Law, emphasizing the contemporary constitutionalism and its reflexes in the following Law areas: Law, State and Society; Philosophy, Theory and History of Law; and International Relations. |
Form and preparation of manuscripts
The articles submitted must be original and unpublished. The texts must be sent through the platform SEER (http://www.periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/sequencia). Exceptionally, by e-mail to the e-mail sequencia@contato.ufsc.br. Preferably in RTF (rich text format). The works must be written by teachers who hold the title of doctors, accepting as coauthors doctoral students and exceptionally masters. Articles must have a minimum of 15 and maximum of 20 pages, typed in Times New Roman font, size 12, according to the spacing of 1.5, the top and left margin of 3 cm and the bottom and right margins of 2 cm. The foreign language articles will be published in the language of origin. Papers will be accepted in Portuguese, English, Spanish, German, French and Italian. Abstract in Portuguese or in the source language and English, emphasizing objective, method and completion of the work. (maximum 100 words). Appointment of three keywords and / or phrases of the text, in Portuguese or in the source language, and English. The Portuguese texts should be written according to the standard presentation of articles of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards - ABNT - NBR 6022, May 2003. The foreign articles should use the ISO equivalent. Citations in the text should be written according to NBR 10520/2002 or ISO equivalent. References to the sources cited should follow the standard NBR-6023/2002, ABNT, following the system AUTHOR / DATE. Reviews should contain no more than two pages and are attached to the same methodological criteria for the article relatively to the type and size of the font and the line spacing.
The texts will be automatically rejected if they do not comply with the format required above.
