The "goiano": priesthood celibacy and historiography

The historiography in general, typified by the moral deviations of conjugality consisting of clergy during the nineteenth century. In doing so, it has absorbed in his speech historiographical vision of the Church, which pondered the priesthood by the normative of celibacy. In this regard, it may be noted that the historiography of Goiás was not elsewhere to this influence.
