The article analyzes the operation of the Security and Information Special Accessories (AESI), agencies created by the Brazilian military regime in the Universities to perform repressive duties. Based on original documents the text highlights the functioning of these agencies that through censorship and repressive actions built an environment of fear and insecurity in the Brazilian Universities.
