The text considers a reflection concerning the formative processes in graduation courses. It takes a path in the direction of the new context of information, knowledge and learning, searching the relation with the formation of abilities to give account of the demands of the contemporary society. It includes an approach on the pedagogical conceptions in order to reach a critical and reflexive analysis of the performance of the formers and educators in a context of new forms of learning. It approaches the formative processes of abilities in Information Science.
