ABSTRACT
Despite all the knowledge produced, there remains the problem of the mismatch between scientific production and its incorporation into practice. Thus emerged, the interest in launching an analytical gaze on the possible contributions of the research funded by PPSUS (Research Program for SUS: shared management in health) notices in Ceará to solving health problems and strengthening the local health system management. The results show weaknesses in the integration of evidence to the process of decision making. It is concluded that research remains a battleground, of both convergences and divergences, therefore, as a space of conflicts between different interests, slowly becoming effective.
