Flora of the cangas of Serra dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil: Fissidentaceae

Abstract

This study presents the species of Fissidentaceae recorded for the areas of cangas in Serra dos Carajás, Pará state. Detailed descriptions, illustrations and morphologic comments are given for six species of the genus Fissidens: F. guianensis, F. hornschuchii, F. pellucidus var. pellucidus, F. perfalcatus F. radicans and F. submarginatus.
