Abstract
This study consists of a floristic survey of the Elaeocarpaceae in ferrginous outcrops of the Serra dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil. Identification keys, morphological descriptions, illustrations, geographical distribution and taxonomic comments are provided for the species treated. In the area only the genus Sloanea is found, represented by six species.
