Estrutura das madeiras brasileiras de Dicotiledôneas - XXVI. Euphorbiaceae.

Abstract

This paper deals with the comparative anatomy of six brazilian woods of the family Euphorbiaceae as follow: Drypetes variabilis Uitt., Paradrypetes ilicifolia Kuhl., Richeria australis Muell. Arg., R. laurifolia Baill., Hieronyma alchorneoides Fr. All. and Securinega guaraiuva Kuhl. The general properties of the species, its principal uses, and their occurrence in Brazil as well as a synoptical key to separate the species are also considered.
