This article consists of a discussion on the existence of structurally perverse women, in terms of psychoanalytic theory as developed by Freud and Lacan. At the beginning it was difficult to distinguish perversion, as a specific structure, from psychosis and neurosis, due to the perverse-polymorphic characteristics of human sexuality. A major issue here is if a woman can have a perverse structure, or if perversion is found only in men.
