Based on a clinical case the author explores the theme of resentment from a psychoanalytic point of view. Addressing singular aspects of the patient's life, issues related to resentment and situations of imprisonment are discussed. Contributions from psychoanalysis are presented as related to theoretical and technical possibilities for listening in cases of resentment.
