Conditions of self-reported health of teachers from a regional university

This is a survey of cross-sectional epidemiological design with the aim of investigating the conditions of self-reported health of university professors and interface with their occupation. Data were collected via self applied to 34 teachers from a regional university community and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Low back pain and fatigue were prevalent complaints and exposure to biological hazards are frequent occupational exposure of the respondents. Student learning is the greater job satisfaction. It is believed that the care and recovery of managers and students to the academic level of teachers may contribute to the promotion of health of workers.
