Mexican racisms and xenophobias againts migrants: 1910 - 2018

Abstract

This article describes and analyzes: a) the very restrictive Mexican immigration laws and policies between 1910 and our days, that have turned Mexico into “a closed doors’ country towards immigration; b) the racist, xenophobic and often extremely violent practices that trans migrants, migrants, migrants who should be treated as refugees, and deported undocumented Mexicans from the USA have been facing in the last years, as the result of the association of corrupt migration agents and organized crime, but also of the xenophobic feelings and ideas of Mexicans themselves.
