Immigrant health: multidimensionality, inequality, and accessibility in Portugal

This article describes the multidimensional aspects of health care for immigrant populations and their descendants, taking as an example the Portuguese case. On the one hand, the importance of accessibility and the different barriers that condition it are emphasized, and on the other hand, the interventions of the State and civil society in defense of immigrant health are highlighted, in the current context marked by international crisis.
